Dr. Jay Desai earned his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine, where he was awarded the prestigious Woodruff Scholarship.  After medical school, he went on to complete his medical internship at Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women's hospital.  Dr. Desai then completed his residency at the Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology at Washington University St. Louis School of Medicine.  For additional training, Dr. Desai went to the west coast where he completed fellowship in Interventional Radiology at Stanford University Hospital.

Having trained with some of the leading scholars in the fields of medicine, surgery and radiology, Dr. Desai obtained a wealth of knowledge and experience from around the country. Prior to joining Quantum Radiology, Dr. Desai practiced in San Jose, CA where he led many initiatives in patient safety, patient satisfaction, and healthcare quality.

Dr. Desai specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures, providing advanced care with precision and efficiency. His expertise includes interventional radiology treatments designed to diagnose and treat conditions with minimal downtime and maximum safety, such as Genicular Nerve Ablation (GNA) and Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE).
