Dr. Jay P. Patel is a Quantum Radiology partner and Board Member currently serving in the AI and Technology Assessment position. Previously, he served as Breast Imaging section head at QR for 8 years. He has been at QR for his entire professional career since 2014. Dr. Patel obtained his medical degree from the University of Miami – Miller School of Medicine and completed his residency at Emory University. Dr. Patel has fellowship training in musculoskeletal radiology and breast imaging. He completed his fellowship in musculoskeletal radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA, and his fellowship in breast imaging at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI.

Dr. Patel has clinical interests in high-risk breast program development, abbreviated screening breast MRI, ACR MQSA, and artificial intelligence. He is a member of multiple professional societies, including Radiological Society of North America, American College of Radiology, Georgia Society of Radiology, Society of Skeletal Radiology, and the Society of Breast Imaging.

Dr. Patel enjoys travel with family and is an avid Boston sports enthusiast. He grew up in New England, originally from Framingham, MA. GO PATS!
