Dr. Ertel graduated from Emory College, Atlanta GA with a major in biology. He received his medical doctor degree from Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Ertel’s residency was performed at Pennsylvania Hospital, University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, PA and his Fellowship at Thomas Jefferson Hospital, Philadelphia PA. Dr. Ertel was an associate professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Dr. Ertel has a focus on Interventional Radiology Oncology. He enjoys spending his personal time with his two children, travelling, and vintage Land Rovers.
