Dr. Panah was recruited from Emory University where he was an Assistant Professor of Radiology for 6 years. During his time at Emory, he was the Chief of Interventional Radiology at Grady Memorial Hospital and helped rebuild the program from the ground up. During his time at Grady Hospital, he increased the volume three-fold and was instrumental in the acquisition of state-of-the-art equipment and modernization of the IR suites. He introduced and/or revised service lines including endovascular stent grafts, uterine fibroid embolization, and cancer therapy.
